This workshop aims to reveal to you the basic principles of renal transplantation, focusing on the techniques used currently with a high rate of success. The practical part will take you through all the steps of a transplant, from the harvesting of the kidney from the donor to the implantation in the recipient, giving you the chance to practice ureteral reimplantation and end-to-side vascular anastomosis.
