  Hello, my name is Roxana and I am one of the coordinators of the Workshops & Live Surgery Department. My team and I are preparing the best experience you can have as a medical student by organizing a consistent variety of hands-on surgical workshops. We are working intensely and very passionately for you to discover in the best way possible a large variety of specialities by learning the main surgical procedures. Also, our colleagues from the Technical Team are helping us to broadcast some interesting surgeries live from the OR.

  My most precious memory from last year’s edition of  SURGICON is definitely the experience of coordinating the Thoracic Surgery workshop in which I had the opportunity to introduce the participants into the amazing world of this speciality by teaching them how to perform pulmonary segmental resection and tracheal anastomosis.

  Hello! I am Florian and I am the coordinator of the Public Relations Department for this year's edition of SURGICON. 

  Our department's job is to create content for our website and social media pages, in order to paint a pleasant but realistic image of the SURGICON experience, but also to share information regarding our congress and keep in touch with our partner congresses.

  My favorite SURGICON memory is seeing the bright and excited faces of the participants who took part in the workshops I coordinated. This made me wish to do more and be more involved in this story.

  Hello! My name is Adelina and I am the coordinator of the Registrations Department of SURGICON 2022. I am eager to get to know all of you, online and on-site, and to write together another chapter of this congress. It will be a great pleasure to meet you at the check-in desk and to share our enthusiasm for surgery. I really hope you will enjoy the welcome bags that me and my “elves” are crafting with all the surgical magic.

  Even though I was part of SURGICON since the beginning, the edition I will remember forever is last year’s one: I was part of the Graphic Design Department, learning a lot of new things and working with my dearest friends.

  Hello! I am Luciana Hrib and this year I will be the coordinator of the Graphic design department. This department has a very special place in my heart as graphic design gave me the opportunity to express my creativity and also meet so many cool and kind people that really helped me develop and make me enjoy working in this department even more. I feel this rush as I am quite nervous and excited at the same time to be part of the organising committee and I really hope me and my team will be able to envision and create a memorable image for SURGICON 2022. Keep in mind that “Design is thinking made visual” and that’s why we are here.

  Hello! I am Adina, the co-coordinator of the Logistics Department. I am confident you are going to have a great experience  and learn so much at our workshops and conferences. The Logistics volunteers are usually at every event, making sure everything is where it needs to be.   Hello, I am Dani, the co-coordinator of the Logistics Department! I hope you are having an amazing time at our Congress! You are probably going to see us and the volunteers, moving and carrying a lot around workshops and conferences, providing the necessary supplies. My favourite memories from all our days at the congress are the fun nights we spent in the headquarters preparing the next day's workshop necessaries.

  Hello everyone, my name is Bianca and i will be the HR coordinator of this year’s Surgicon edition! “I came for the workshops and stayed for the people” is something i usually hear from our volunteers and there is no better feeling than seeing people creating unbreakable bonds at our congress. Always eager to help, with a sparkle of fine attention to details and a lot of excitement for the upcoming conferences and workshops, the HR carries a part of the work behind the congress.

  Thinking back on last year’s edition, the memories i will never forget are the almost sleepless nights during the congress when everyone was working hard to make sure everything goes perfectly, randomly laughing and creating friendships that will last based on what we have in common: the love for surgery.

  Good day everyone! 

  My name is Andrușa and I am the coordinator of the Fundraising department at SURGICON 2022! I'm really excited to be a part of this edition's story and to be able to help out with its evolution and wonderful projects. 

  My team is represented by a group of enthusiastic students, with a lot of energy, persuasion and amazing social skills. Our mission this year will be to reach out to potential partners and sponsors that could help improve the various aspects of the organisation process through their material intervention. 

  We will be able to meet with you all during the Congress days, when we will take care of the sponsors expo area and promotional materials, but you can reach out to us much sooner than that if you wish to become a part of the Fundraising team!

  Hello Everyone!

  I'm Andrei Barnonschi and I am one of the co-coordinators of the Technical Team of  SURGICON 2022. I can't wait to meet each other during the congress, the team and I will make sure that the quality of technical services will exceed your expectations. Hope you will enjoy the activities!

  I remember many memorable moments from  SURGICON 2021 and it is very hard to pick a favorite, the whole congress was my favorite because of the team we had. We collaborated incredibly well together and the atmosphere in our team was so friendly that I didn't feel the pressure of managing a stream with over 100 people. I take this opportunity to thank the Tech Team for making SURGICON 2021 as one of my favorite projects I've ever been part of.
